To answer the frequently asked questions regarding TFP and fees, these are my simple win-win principles:

When we do a shoot where the client pays me a fee for shooting, I always pay the model, MUA and stylist for their efforts in the project.

When I have a project for my portfolio, which doesn’t add anything to your portfolio, I’m happy to pay you a fee for your efforts, or shoot a separate concept for your portfolio.

When you have a project for your portfolio, which doesn’t add anything to my portfolio, I’m happy to shoot for you, but will charge you a fee, or trade for a separate shoot for my portfolio.

When we have a project that adds to both our portfolios, I’m happy to shoot TFP and share all agreed cost in the project.

We always agree on a Model Release before the shoot.
